Commissions, fees, payment gateway and platform model
Posting your company, your products and your services on QuébeClic is free.
With the regular plan issued upon joining, you don’t pay anything until you sell something.
The regular commission fees for QuébeClic on sales made on the platform are 5% of your sales, excluding shipping. Delivery fees paid by the customer are handed over to you entirely. Part of these costs will be for the operation of the platform and advertising. By registering, you agree to pay these costs if you make a sale on our site. In addition, you agree that QuébeClic acts as a bridge between you and the client and that any dispute between you and a client will be your responsibility. The commission paid to QuébeClic will be subject to applicable taxes (GST and QST). It will be your duty to request the credit from Revenu Québec if you are registered for the GST and the QST.
Payments will be distributed automatically. Charges of 2.9% + $ 0.30 are also applicable on sales and paid by the seller to Stripe, our credit card processing solution. Creating a Stripe account will be mandatory in order to receive payments from customers. You will be able to create your Stripe account when logging on to the QuébeClic Connect platform (powered by Stripe).
Stripe is a safe, effective, and globally recognized method for receiving online credit card payments. Here is a link to inform you about the type of Connect platform used by QuébeClic: https://stripe.com/en-ca/connect
For the moment, in order to keep an efficient and automated system, we do not authorize other payment methods (such as PayPal, etc.). The use of such payment methods would require a manual, lengthy and painful withdrawal method in addition to entailing other additional costs. We continue to improve the platform on a daily basis to offer you more services.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to update, modify or replace any part of these conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website regularly for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or service after the posting of any changes to these conditions constitutes acceptance of those changes.
